Service Writer Professional, in response to customer feedback, has expanded its functionality while maintaining its quick and user-friendly environment.  The Professional version includes all of the features you would expect from a system of this nature.  The Professional version generates estimates, invoices, customer mailing lists, and daily sales reports.  It maintains customer purchase and vehicle history and makes it easy to find the information you're looking for in a few simple steps.

Service Writer Professional is designed to provide small automotive repair garages with service writing, estimating, and invoicing capabilities to help control your paperwork and store valuable customer and vehicle information. The Professional version includes an accounts payable and accounts receivable.  It also has workorder and purchase order functionality.  To help control and manage your inventory, we've also added a perpetual inventory.

Service Writer Professional is intended for small to medium size automotive repair shops looking to automate processes for creating, controlling, and managing their repair orders, inventory, invoices and receivables.  Service Writer Professional includes all of the key functions of the Express version, plus, many more features small to medium size shops need.  Most shops that install the professional version have limited, if any, computerization in their shop and realize that it's finally time to computerize further.  We offer the Professional version so that businesses new to computerization can minimize their initial investment.

  • Generate professional invoices
    Generate professional estimates and invoices quickly and easily.  Select parts, labour, outside services, and record any need attention items.  Assign technicians to parts for commission purposes, as well as labour so you can efficiently measure productivity.  Estimates and invoices can be printed or emailed to your customers.
  • Customer & Vehicle History
    Record and maintain customer as well as vehicle information.  You can record the make, model, model year, and inspection expiry date.  You can store this information for an unlimited number of vehicles while maintaining a complete service history.
  • Follow Up & Repeat Business
    Use the mail-out wizard to generate mailing lists for customers based on a virtually endless number of choices.  You can print these lists or export them to EXCEL and use the data for a mail-merge in MS-OFFICE.  Using these tools can help encourage repeat business from your customers.
  • Daily Sales Analysis
    Automatically generate a range of useful management reports including sales and gross margin reports for specific dates.  You also graphically reproduce this data to reveal sales trends that can help you make better decisions.
  • Perpetual Inventory
    Keep track of all your inventory with on hand counts, reorder points, sales history and many other features.  Generate reports to help you determine what to order and how much.  Create different price levels for your customers.
